Challenge
Corti needed a user interface upgrade for their AI-powered digital voice assistant for medics. Corti users requested a simple visual dashboard to display and generalize the data collected by the existing solution. At the first stage of development, Corti set a task of building a prototype that would bring immediate value to its users.
Solution
The Voypost team broke the task down into individual items and estimated the respective timeframes. The biggest challenge lied in retaining compatibility between the dashboard, designed with React on Firebase, and other parts of the platform, implementing a complex access policy on top. Voypost had also implemented the CSV export option for dashboard data.
Intro
Corti applications save lives across the world. One of the examples is a patient self-assessment web app that was particularly helpful during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The task Corti assigned to Voypost would greatly simplify the remote consultation of patients and diminish the chance of mistake.
The extreme conditions had put some extra pressure on both teams, particularly in regard to deadlines, so the solution had to be finished up fast.
Good-quality, quick code allowed Voypost to iterate quickly on the solution based on customer feedback. They took scope changes in stride, adapting their task outlines to meet changing needs. Before accepting the job, Nikita had made a very clear breakdown of stories and tasks, with an estimate for each. It ensured alignment and transparency, and was a great way to start the project. Good communication was vital, and Nikita et al were super responsive and very specific. Changes needed on our end were clearly specified to our engineer. Issues were dealt with rapidly.

Corti easily found Voypost thanks to the high ratings of the latter. Although the scope was estimated before the start of the project, the Voypost team was also flexible enough to adapt to the scope changes. This was easy thanks to good-quality code which allowed Voypost to iterate quickly on the solution based on customer feedback.
Nikita, the CEO of Voypost, had made sure that communication was transparent and specific right from the start. The Corti engineers knew exactly what is required on their side to streamline development.
The precision of communication was subsequently recognized by the Corti’s Head of Product as Voypost’s forte.
Value
As soon as the prototype was delivered, Corti was able to reiterate and improve upon it, recognizing the code quality from Voypost.
In particular, the patient dashboard by Voypost listed patients based on the severity of their condition. The data concerning the patient state was collected through SMS, e-mails, or interviews, so the actual professional presence was not necessary.
It enabled healthcare professionals to better distribute their effort and focus on patients who need attention the most.
